In the past few months, I've come to realize that, in many ways, I emobody one particular philosophy: Get Over It! As harsh as that sounds, I've moved past the bad in my life because I made the conscious decision to stop letting it come back and haunt/effect me.

When the little annoyances of life spring up, like the gas light blinking when I know I just put 40 bucks in the tank, or a rude person, or having a late book at the library; its not that they don't annoy me, I just don't let them accumulate to or conspire to ruin my day. What for?

I guess that's the whole point of this blog. I don't see the point in holding onto the bad shit when you're the only it hurts. I equate holding onto pain and dredging up old emotional wounds with the physical act of pummeling yourself--over and over again. And being that I'm not a masochist, I don't see the point in just letting it all fester and continue to have a negative impact on my life and relationships.

Wow. I'm feelin' might philosophical today...I wonder if there's a mood for that. Hmmm.
